Switching from Podbean to Podigee? Here's How the Migration Works

Moving an existing podcast to Podigee is designed to preserve the show your listeners already follow.

Podigee imports the content available through your existing RSS feed. Once your new podcast is ready, you publish it on Podigee and set up a 301 redirect from your old Podbean feed to your new Podigee feed. That redirect tells podcast apps that your show has moved. Apps such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify can then update to the new feed rather than treating it as a completely new podcast.

The migration process from Podbean to Podigee looks roughly like this:

1. Create your Podigee account

2. Request an import using your existing RSS feed

3. Review the imported show and episodes

4. Publish your podcast on Podigee

5. Redirect your old Podbean RSS feed to the new Podigee feed
