Podigee launches video podcasts for everyone across YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify

Podcasters have always followed audiences into the places where they choose to listen. Increasingly, that also means the places where they watch.

Starting today, Podigee customers can publish video podcasts directly from Podigee to YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify. Creators upload once, keep one publishing workflow, and can continue distributing audio everywhere else.

This makes Podigee the first podcast platform in the world to support video podcast distribution to all three major platforms across every paid plan.

"For too long, video podcasting has felt like a separate production track for teams with more time, more budget, and more tools. We want it to feel like podcasting again: one episode, one workflow, and every major platform covered." - Mateusz Sójka, co-founder, Podigee

For podcasters, the change is practical: more places to be discovered, without adding another publishing process. Where video is supported, audiences can watch. On audio-only platforms, the episode remains available as audio. The RSS feed stays clean, and the existing podcast workflow stays intact.

With AI transcripts for every episode and the Podigee Clipper for short video clips built in, every video episode can go further: audiences can listen, read, watch, and discover the best moments wherever they are. Clipper suggests up to 5 clip moments per episode in 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9.

Where video podcasts can go live today

YouTube

Publish video episodes directly to YouTube from Podigee. Audio-only episodes can go there too: Podigee automatically turns them into a YouTube video using your cover art or chapter images.

Apple Podcasts

Video on Apple Podcasts is delivered through HLS, so listeners can move between audio and video in Apple Podcasts while publishers keep the same workflow.

Spotify

Distribute video episodes to Spotify from the same Podigee upload.

Which plans include video podcasts

• Video upload on every plan: Upload MP4 or MOV files up to 20 GB, including on the free LAUNCH plan (2 video episodes per month).

• Distribution from STARTER: Distribution to YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts is included in all paid plans, starting with STARTER at €19/month.

• Video quotas by plan: See how many video episodes and minutes each plan includes on the Podigee pricing page with all plans.

New: Record video podcasts directly in Podigee

Since launch, one key piece has been added: with the Podigee Recording Studio, you record your video podcast right in the browser, solo or with guests. Your guests don't need any software or an account, just an invitation by link or email. The recording becomes your episode directly and goes out to YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts from there, with no export and no second upload.

• Up to 8 people and 4 hours per session, audio only or with video.

• Every voice on its own track: each person is recorded locally in full quality (double-ender). Tracks upload continuously while you talk.

• Done automatically: Podigee aligns the tracks, levels the volume, and combines the camera feeds into one video.

• Editor included: trim, mute or solo tracks, fine-tune alignment, and download individual tracks.

The Recording Studio is included from the GROW plan (€29/month). Learn how to record your podcast with Podigee
