Your assistant reads episodes, analytics, transcripts, and content drafts. On your instruction, it plans and publishes episodes, imports podcasts, submits them to platforms, and manages the listeners of private feeds. Before anything changes, you see a preview, and only your confirmation carries out the change.

Connect your assistant
In Claude, you add Podigee as a custom connector. In Codex and other MCP-compatible clients, you add it through the server address. You sign in with your Podigee account and choose the permissions.

Start with a question
Start with a query, for example about your downloads last month. You add write permissions when a task needs them.

When you connect, you choose what your assistant may do, for example read only or analytics only. A connection always applies to a single Podigee account.
Before anything changes, you see a preview with the target and the values, for example when publishing, importing, or adding new listeners. Only your confirmation carries out the change, and it applies to that one change only.
For tools without a sign-in in the browser, you create a personal access token with exactly the permissions they need. You see connected assistants in your Podigee account under API and can revoke their access at any time.

What is the Podigee MCP Server?
The Podigee MCP Server connects your AI assistant with your Podigee account. You query your numbers, plan and publish episodes, maintain show notes and chapter marks, import podcasts, and manage the listeners of private feeds, all in a conversation. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard that connects AI applications with other tools.
Which AI assistants can I use?
You connect Claude as a custom connector, which requires a Claude plan that allows custom connectors. You connect Codex through the server address. Any other client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in works, too.
Can my assistant publish episodes?
Yes, if you give it write permissions when you connect. Before the episode goes live, you see a preview, and only your confirmation triggers it. In early access, we enable write permissions separately.
Can the AI publish or delete something by accident?
You stay in control. Before anything changes, for example when publishing, deleting, or adding new listeners, you see a preview. Only your confirmation triggers the change, and every confirmation applies to exactly that one change. You can also take an episode offline and publish it again later.
How do audio and video files get to Podigee?
You upload your episode to Podigee as usual. Your assistant takes over the steps after that: show notes, chapter marks, release date, and publishing. For workflows with local files, there is the pdg CLI, which transfers the file directly to Podigee.
What data does my assistant see?
Your assistant sees what your connection’s permissions allow, and only the one account you select when you connect. You can revoke access at any time. Your AI provider’s privacy policy applies to what you enter in the chat.
