What is a video podcast?
A video podcast is a podcast you can watch and listen to. You record your conversation on camera and publish the episode as a video. Some also call it a vodcast or a podcast with video. It means the same thing.

Create a new episode and drag the video file into the upload area, for example MP4 or MOV with up to 20 GB.

Podigee delivers your video episodes directly to Spotify, where they run as video in the app. Podigee is among the first hosting platforms Spotify selected as a premium partner for video podcasts.
Requirement- Your show is listed on Spotify and connected to Spotify in Podigee.
Apple Podcasts
Podigee automatically prepares your video in HLS, the format Apple Podcasts uses for video. That way, your audience switches between audio and video in the app. Podigee is among the hosting partners Apple announced for video in March 2026.

Apple decides for each show individually whether it may show video. The first Podigee show to launch with video on Apple Podcasts was a podcast by Studio Bummens.
What happens to my audio podcast?
It keeps running as before. Podigee pulls the audio track out of every video, and your audio feed keeps serving Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, Deezer, and all other podcast apps. Transcripts and chapter marks are created just as they are for an audio episode.
Can I be on YouTube without a camera?
Yes. For audio-only episodes, Podigee creates a YouTube video from your cover art or your chapter images and uploads it to your connected channel.
