What's new from Podigee

Available for podcasts using dynamic monetization via AdsWizz or the Podigee Ad Marketplace and the paid AI add-on.

You stay fully in control at all times: Episodes that already contain AI-generated content are automatically skipped. All results are provided as suggestions that you can quickly and conveniently review and consciously apply, for example, indicated by the sparkle icon ✨. Available for podcasts using the paid AI add-on.

Funding Tags are shown on platforms that support this feature, such as Pocket Casts, AntennaPod, and Podcast Addict.

Instead of constantly checking RSS feeds, new episodes are delivered directly through a modern, decentralized system. For you, this means your listeners never miss a new episode, and everything happens automatically, reliably, and without any effort.

Imagine standing at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and your podcatcher shows you all episodes that are specifically about Paris or the Eiffel Tower. Or you’re curious which podcasts originated in Buxtehude. Locations make this possible – and not only for real places, but also for fictional locations like “Hogwarts.” You can indicate whether an episode or the podcast is about this location or was recorded at this location. This adds a new dimension to your content and makes it easier for listeners to discover what makes your podcast unique. The more podcasters use locations, the more exciting it becomes for platforms and podcatchers.

In Podigee, you can select your published podcasts in the “Feeds” section to be displayed as recommendations in the RSS feed. These recommendations will also automatically appear in the “More from us” section of your Podigee blog. Currently, the PodRoll tag is only available for podcasts hosted on Podigee. It can only be edited by podcast owners or organization admins.

It analyzes your audio files and helps with the tasks that usually take the most time: suggesting titles, descriptions, and show notes, creating automatic chapter marks, and highlighting strong quotes for social media. New to this release is the analysis of your speech and tone analysis. It shows you how you sound, how complex your language is, and how your content resonates with your audience – helping you communicate more effectively. The AI is fully integrated into Podigee – just look for the small sparkles. One click, and the analysis begins. We believe AI not only saves you time but also gives you powerful insights to make your podcast even better. *The Podigee AI Add-on is a paid feature with a transparent minute-based model.

Podigee and our Podigee Ad Server are now IAB v2.2 certified, ensuring that our analytics and ad deliveries follow the latest standard – for a fair, comparable, and open podcast ecosystem. We strongly support the open podcast standard and the idea that creators should always maintain full control over their content. That’s why we actively participate in the Podcast Standards Project, helping to expand and adapt the standard to new developments.

This update comes with our IAB 2.2 certification renewal, giving you greater transparency and a more complete picture of your reach.

Under the hood, we’ve updated the technology to the latest standards. This means more stability, faster load times, and better everyday performance. At the same time, it lays the foundation for developing new features more quickly and responding to feedback more flexibly. Alongside the improved interface, there are practical new features such as image cropping for podcast covers, direct display of audio file metadata, a faster episode list, and status indicators for exports to platforms like Apple or Spotify. With the new Podigee frontend, we combine modern design with future-proof technology, so you can focus entirely on what matters most: creating great podcasts.

This new feature saves time and ensures that all essential information is automatically imported from the MP3 file. Smart safeguards prevent manually edited fields from being overwritten. Your episode is fully prepared right after upload and can be published faster.

This new feature makes it easier to meet the required image dimensions, ensuring that podcasts and episodes can be published without issues. In the cropping module, you can select the perfect frame, move it, and resize it. After cropping, the image is automatically scaled, reducing file size and ensuring correct display.

Whenever a podcast reaches a certain lifetime download milestone, users will receive a “reward-badge”. This badge will be shown in the app and can easily be shared with friends or across other channels.Achievements are now delivered as push notifications whenever a new goal is reached.

Podigee has launched the world's first MCP server for podcasts, connecting Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to your podcast data. This allows you to ask questions in natural language (e.g., 'What were my top episodes this month?') and receive real-time, personalized analytics insights. This integration of AI helps you understand your audience, optimize content, and grow your podcast more effectively.

The ability to share your podcast with others is also popular. Here, too, there's an extension that lets you see links to the most popular platforms at a glance and share them with others. If you're not familiar with the Podigee Mobile App yet, you should give it a try!

This already makes it very easy to compare episodes fairly. If an episode is online for a very long time, the data can become misleading, because older episodes, just had longer time to be found. However, for some of our users, the seven days weren't enough, for example, because they tend to publish less frequently. We listened to feedback and expanded the chart so that it's now also possible to compare performance over the first 30 days.

Podigee has always pursued an "API first" approach. All clickable functions can also be used programmatically via the API. Using an API, you can easily automate your podcast workflow. You can find all the details about the API – also in machine-readable format – in our API documentation. With today's new feature, another important detail can be controlled via the API. You can now also use the API to specify which of your episodes should include the intro or outro. If you have a podcast with many episodes, this is a very easy way to optimize your podcast.

We've completely streamlined the Apple Podcasts submission process. Instead of managing multiple steps like creating Apple IDs, activating 2FA, and filling out forms, you can now submit your podcast with just one click. Podigee handles the entire process automatically, getting your show on Apple Podcasts faster and easier than ever before.

With Podcast Networks, you can consolidate your entire portfolio under one account, offering a single feed, a dedicated portfolio website, detailed analytics, and ad monetization across all your podcasts. Agencies and production companies benefit from centralized billing, streamlined team collaboration with shared access for multiple users, and efficient distribution to major podcast platforms like Apple, Spotify, and Amazon. The link to the podcast's site for the Podcast Addict platform inside the subscribe options was previously incorrect. This has now been fixed, ensuring that your listeners can subscribe to your podcast using Podcast Addict on Android devices.

If you have submitted one or more podcasts to Samsung, you might have already received an email from Samsung. Samsung Podcasts will close its services on December 1. Therefore, we have removed the possibility of submitting a podcast to Samsung. If you have any additional data on Samsung, you might want to export or save it. So far, we have no information about a new portal replacing it, so no action is required.

Enable Spotify Open Access to restrict podcast access based on your subscription system. Spotify Open Access (SOA) is a distribution layer for creators who offer paid content. It allows Spotify users to unlock and listen to content they paid for via third-party services: for example, podcasts with paywalled content hosted on Podigee.
